AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- The Detroit Shock announced Wednesday, Sept. 24, that Games 2 (Sunday, Sept. 28, 3 p.m.)  and 3 (Monday, Sept. 29, 7 p.m.) if necessary of the WNBA Eastern Conference Finals will be played at Eastern Michigan University's Convocation Arena. (Note: game dates listed above have changed. These games were originally slated for Saturday, Sept. 27, and Sunday, Sept. 28)

"With the season being moved back a month to accommodate the Olympics, we had some arena schedule conflicts that could not be moved," said Detroit Shock Chief Operating Officer Craig Turnbull.

The Shock’s five game winning streak to end the regular season gave them the best record in the East and home court advantage for the first two rounds of the playoffs. With their win over the Indiana Fever on Tuesday, the Shock advance to the Eastern Conference Finals and will start the series on the road with Game 1 in New York on Friday.
