White Takes Game One of Best of Five Series

Todd Graves hit the game-winning RBI single in the scrimmage
In game one of a best of five series between the Green and White squads of the Eastern Michigan University baseball team, the White team claimed a 5-4 victory over the Green team at Oestrike Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 21. Freshman Kendall Lewis (Huntsville, Ohio-Indian Lake) picked up the win for the White team, while junior Corey Chaffins (New London, Ohio-New London) took the loss for the Green squad.
Senior Todd Graves (St. Mary's, Ohio-St. Mary's) had two hits, including the game-winning RBI single, while freshman John Crooks (Toledo, Ohio-Ottawa Hills) went 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored in the victory.
The Eagle baseball team will continue its best of five inter-squad series on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 2:30 p.m. at Oestrike Stadium.
