Meet the Football Team at Meijer

Players will greet and assist customers at Ypsilanti Meijer
YPSILANTI, Mich. — The Eastern Michigan University football team will be at the Ypsilanti Meijer, Saturday, Aug. 23, from 4-6 p.m. to promote the 2008 season and its upcoming game against Indiana State.
During the two-hour event, the Eagles will help greet customers and bag groceries, as well as handle curb side assistance. The players will also be available for autographs throughout the event. Meijer is located at 3825 Carpenter Road in Ypsilanti.
The Eagles and Sycamores are set to start the 2008 season, Thursday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. at Rynearson Stadium. Before the game, fans are encouraged to stop by the Eagles Landing Fan Zone, located at EMU’s Oestrike baseball stadium, and enjoy live music, hot-air balloon rides, a rock-climbing wall, inflatables, food and beverages and much more. Eagles Landing opens two hours prior to every home game and is available to anyone with a ticket to the game.
