Women's Basketball to play Nov. 27-28 in Cancun, Mexico

YPSILANTI, Mich. – Spend Thanksgiving in Cancun, Mexico with the Eastern Michigan University women's basketball team during the upcoming 2008-09 season. The Eagles are scheduled to play in the Caribbean Challenge, Nov. 27-28. The Green and White will join Boston College, James Madison University and Texas Christian University in the two-day event.
All the teams in the tournament posted at least 17 victories in 2007-08, however, the complete tournament scheduled has not yet been released.
The Caribbean Challenge will be played at the all-inclusive Moon Palace Resort, which features lodging packages ranging from four to 11 nights between Nov. 22 and Dec. 2. Due to limited seating, please note that game tickets are only guaranteed with the Triple Crown Fan Package. Passports will be required to travel to Cancun, and airfare is not included in the tournament package.
