Second ranked Georgia (284-291-286=861) made the turn in the final round was able to make up a six-stroke deficit to second-round leader No. 26 Ole Miss (277-292-287=856). For the second straight day, a UGA comeback was all for not as an eagle from Mississippi’s David Marino on the par-4, 13th hole kick-started another stellar back nine for the eventual champions. The Rebels denied the Bulldogs a chance to win the tournament for the third time in as many years.

Robbie Greenwell (68-68-72=208) of Memphis hung onto his 36-hole lead to take home individual medalist honors by three shots over second-place Joel Sjoholm of Georgia State.

The Eagles return to the links March 24-25 when they travel to the USA Spring Classic in Mobile, Ala.
