CINCINNATI, Ohio. – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team dominated Delaware State University, 3-0 (30-19, 30-27, 30-18), Friday afternoon in the opener of the Aussie Xavier University here at the Cintas Center. Senior Abby Reenders and junior Jill Wolosiansky paced the Eagle attack combining for 20 of the team’s 41 kills, as the team improved to 4-1 on the young season.

Abby Reenders turned in a double-double with 11 kills, 16 digs and two total blocks, while Wolosiansky turned in nine kills and three digs. Also contributing for the Green and White was redshirt freshman Jennifer Swartz, who recorded seven and six kills and two block assists. Senior setter Kate Sulewski also tallied 33 assists on the afternoon.
For DSU, Kinga Muszynski led all players in the match with 19 digs. Ayana Dyette finished the game with nine kills and nine digs.
The Eagles close out the invitational Saturday with a pair of contests versus Evansville (12:30 p.m.) and the host Musketeers (7 p.m.)
