EMU Names Bilbrey Assistant Strength Coach

New assistant comes from Kent State University

YPSILANTI, Mich. Tim Bilbrey, a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Kent State University for the past two years, has joined the Eastern Michigan University athletics department as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. His appointment is effective immediately.

The 25-year-old Bilbrey (8-17-81) completed both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in exercise physiology from Kent State University, in 2004 and 2007 respectively. He served an internship in strength and conditioning with the Detroit Tigers in Major League Baseball in 2005 and then returned to Kent as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach for two years while completing his master’s degree.

Bilbrey is a native of Akron, Ohio and graduated from Medina H.S. in 1999.
