ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team shot a final round 290 (+2) Saturday afternoon to place 15th at the NCAA East Regional at the Golf Club of Georgia. The Eagles' three-round score of 899 (+35) put them 15 strokes behind Coastal Carolina, who earned the 10th and final qualifying position for the NCAA Men's Golf Championship from the region's 27-team field.

Georgia pulled away on the final day to win the East Regional by 12 strokes (855, -9) after posting the lowest team score of the three-round event with a 281 (-7). Florida, Auburn and host Georgia Tech shared second place with three-round scores of 867 (+3). Florida's Billy Horschel and Georgia's Brendon Todd shared medalist honors with scores of 210 (-6).

Senior Bryan Haase closed out his collegiate career with a final round of four-under par 68 to finish regional play in a tie for 27th with a score of 221 (+5). Sophomore Christopher Ross and redshirt freshman Brandon Lemons added totals of 228 while freshman Cam Burke carded a 236.
