Eagles and Chippewas to meet for 85th time since 1902
MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The Eastern Michigan University-Central Michigan University football game originally scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 17, has been officially changed to Friday night, Nov. 16. The game will kick off at 7 p.m. at Kelly/Shorts Stadium in Mount Pleasant.
The matchup with the Eagles and Chippewas will be the 85th all-time meeting between the two rivals. Last season the Maroon and Gold captured a 24-17 overtime victory at Rynearson Stadium in Ypsilanti, Sept. 23, 2006, to snap the Eagles’ two-game winning streak in the series.
The 2007 Eagles will open fall camp in August in preparation for the season opener Saturday, Sept. 1, at Pittsburgh.
