Chrzanowski Qualifies for Nationals

MAC Diver of the Year one of nine Zone C qualifiers
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Senior Sarah Chrzanowski, of the recently crowned Mid-American Conference champion Eastern Michigan University women's swimming and diving team, qualified for next weekend's NCAA Championship meet (March 8-10) at the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships Sunday (March 4) in Canham Natatorium. Chrzanowski placed her 24th overall from the one-meter board at the 2006 NCAA Championship meet.
Chrzanowski, the MAC Diver of the Year, posted a score of 553.90 on the one-meter board finishing in fifth place. She also finished seventh on the three-meter board with a 519.05 total. Junior Becky Renkola finished eighth on the three-meter board (511.25) and 22nd with a 220.00 score in the one-meter event.
On the one-meter board, EMU men divers Josh Olson (239.25) finished 26th, Mitch Kellerman (228.50) placed 29th and Matt Guinan (208.00) took 38th. In the three-meter event Olson (255.50) placed 23rd, while Kellerman (225.75) finished 32nd.
