EMU to Offer $5 Tickets to the Final Home Football Game

Eagle Nation Fan Appreciation Day set for Friday, Nov. 9, versus Bowling Green

YPSILANTI, Mich. –– The Eastern Michigan University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced today that fans can purchase tickets for just $5 to the football team's Friday, Nov. 9, contest versus Mid-American Conference foe Bowling Green State University. The discounted tickets are being offered to any fan for the 7:30 p.m. game at Rynearson Stadium as part of Eagle Nation Fan Appreciation Day.

Tickets can be purchased by calling 734.487.2282 or visiting the EMU Ticket Office in the Convocation Center. Fans will also be able to purchase tickets at the door on game day.

Throughout the game fans will have to opportunity to take home various EMU Athletics items ranging from apparel to signed footballs.

The cross-divisional matchup between the Eagles and Falcons will be televised nationally on ESPNU. The meeting will be BGSU's second in Ypsilanti since 1994 and the first since 2003 when the Orange and Brown captured a 33-20 win, Oct. 18.

The game will also be designated Senior Day with EMU's seniors being honored prior to the game. The Eagles will say farewell to an outstanding group of 11 seniors: tight end Ken Bohnet, defensive back Julius Brown, defensive back Zedrick Bryant, defensive back Aaron Glenn, defensive lineman Jason Jones, wide receiver Travis Lewis, linebacker Darran Matthews, long snapper Jerry Topolinski, tailback Pierre Walker, offensive lineman Khalid Walton and defensive lineman Eric Young.
