EL PASO, Texas – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team opened the 2006 season with a three-game setback to New Mexico State in the first game of the UTEP/Sun Bowl, Friday, Aug. 25, in El Paso, Texas.
EL PASO, Texas – The Eastern Michigan University volleyball team opened the 2006 season with a three-game setback to New Mexico State in the first game of the UTEP/Sun Bowl, Friday, Aug. 25, in El Paso, Texas.
The Aggies (1-0) defeated the Eagles 30-21, 30-17, 30-22 with senior middle blocker Lindsay Piccolioni leading the way with 13 kills. Junior setter Kate Sulewski paced the squad with 16 digs and 24 assists.
