Eagles led by Jake Dubois with third in 800 meters
HILLSDALE, Mich.-—The Eastern Michigan University men’s track team came up with several key efforts here Saturday in the final day of competition in the "Gina" Relays hosted by Hillsdale College.
Jake Dubois (Jackson, Mich.-East Jackson), Josh Goodrich (Fairlawn, Ohio-Copley) and Roy Shavers (Flint, Mich.-Central) paced the Eagles Saturday.
Dubois was third in the 800 meters in 1:51.96 with Goodrich tied for fourth in the pole vault at 14-feet-11 inches, and Shavers turning in a sixth-place finish in the 400 meters in :48.50.
