Rowing Turns in Top Performance at Indiana Quad

Eagles have two firsts in the meet against Indiana, Cincinnati and Dayton
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Eastern Michigan University women's rowing team came up with its best all-around effort of the year here Saturday in a quadrangular meet on Lake Lemon against Indiana University, the University of Cincinnati and Dayton University.
Head Coach Pamela Besteman's squad recorded a first-place finish in the Varsity 4 race with a boat of all novices. The Eagles came back and captured first in the 2nd Varsity 8 race, and Eastern added a runner-up finish in the 1st Varsity 8 race.
The Eagles next action will be April 8 at the Lake Wheeler Invitational in Raleigh, North Carolina.
