Women's Soccer Concludes Season with a 2-1 Loss to Miami in MAC Tournament

The EMU women’s soccer team fell, 2-1, in quarterfinal action against Miami in the 2005 MAC Tournament held at the Miami Soccer Field, Nov. 1, in Oxford, Ohio. Freshman Jessica Lathrop tallied her first career goal on a shot from 10 yards out, with an assist from senior Michele Lawrence, at the 15:42 mark of the first half. Miami responded with a goal from Kathleen Vistica at the 22:15 mark and the game winner from Kaite Boyd giving the RedHawks the victory. EMU finished the season with an 8-11-1 overall record and 6-5 mark in the MAC.
