EAGLES FALL AT NORTH DAKOTA: A poor second half spelled doom for the Eagles in an 87-65 non-conference loss Saturday (Nov. 26) at North Dakota State University in Fargo, N.D. EMU held a 36-35 halftime advantage but the home team came out and outscored the Eagles by a 52-29 count in the second half to notch the win, their first against an NCAA Division I opponent. EMU, now 1-1 on the year, will host Detroit Tuesday, Nov. 29, in a 7 p.m. game in the Convocation Center.

TELEVISION CALLS: The Eagles have five games scheduled for television this season.The season opener against California (Nov. 18), the Detroit game (Nov. 29), the Western Michigan contest, January 24, and the EMU at Ball State game, Feb. 4, are all slated to be televised on Comcast Local while the EMU at Indiana tilt, Dec. 3, is scheduled for ESPN Plus.

LONG SERIES: EMU and UDM will be meeting for the 67th time when the two teams square off Tuesday (Nov. 29). UDM won last year’s battle, 88-83. The Titans have won the last three in a row againstthe Eagles. Eastern’s last win was an 82-80 overtime decision, Dec. 30, 1
