Sophomore Lauren Snell leads Eagles with 116th--place finish
BLOOMINGTON, Ind.- - The Eastern Michigan University women’s cross country team finished 28th here Saturday (Nov. 12) in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional hosted by Indiana University on its cross country course.
Michigan won the team title with 52 points while Notre Dame was second at 68, Wisconsin third with 142, Butler fourth at 174 and Michigan State fifth at 182. EMU scored 804 points for the 28th spot.
Senior Lauren Snell (Sr.-Medina, Ohio-Medina) led the Eagles with a 116th place finish in 23:45.1. Following Snell were Amy Zacharski (Sr.-New Baltimore, Mich.-Macomb C.C.) in 163rd at 24:38.4; Lindsay Abdul-Haqq (Sr.-Davison, Mich.-Kearsley) 166th in 24:41.6; Melissa Green 167th in 24:48.7; Nicole Erlacher 192nd in 26:05.3 and Chelsea Snell 201st in 26:41.4.
