The EMU volleyball team fell to California-Irvine, 3-1 (20-30, 20-30, 30-19, 28-30), in the opening round of the Campus USA Credit Union Classic in Gainesville, Fla., Sept. 16. Junior Lindsay Piccolini tallied a team-best 12 digs, while senior Bethany Piccolini recored 11 kills, 10 digs and five total blocks in the setback.
