Women's Soccer Takes Season Opener, 2-1, Over IPFW

The EMU women's soccer team opened the 2005 campaign in fine fashion, handing IPFW a 2-1 loss at the Hefner Soccer Complex in Ft. Wayne, Ind., Aug. 26. Junior Shannon McIntyre scored the game's first goal on a penalty kick just before the intermission, while senior Trisha Roberts tallied the game winner on a header at the 77:43 mark.
