Outstanding pole vaulter for the EMU track team from 1964-68... Won the pole vault title at the 1965 and 1966 President's Athletic Club (PAC) outdoor track championships... Set an EMU varsity pole vault record in 1965... Earned NCAA All-American status in 1966... Also named NAIA All-American in both 1967 and 1968... Ranked in the top 10 in the world from 1966-68... Captured the pole vault title at the Penn and Michigan State Relays... Captain of the EMU track team in 1967.
