Graduated in 1988…Member of the women’s cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams from 1985-1988…Outstanding runner who won four individual Mid-American Conference (MAC) titles and ran on five championship relay teams…In outdoor track: on the winning 4x400-meter relay team in both 1986 and 1987, and won the individual 1,500-meter run title in 1987, which was the MAC outdoor season record that stood for 21 years…In indoor track: won the 800-meter title in both 1985 and 1986, the 1,000-meter crown in 1987, ran on the 4x400-meter relay team in 1985, and ran on the winning 4x800-meter relay team in both 1986 and 1987…Was an All-MAC cross country selection in 1986…Ranks in the EMU All-time records for 800-meter run with 2:07.65 and the 1500-meter run with 4:18.09…In 1987, ran on the the 4x800-meter relay team with a time of 8:46.27 which was the top time in the U.S….Three-time NCAA qualifier: 1000-meter run in 1986 and 1987; and the 1,500-meter run in 1988, placing eighth…Served as the women’s cross country and indoor track and field teams graduate assistant in 1988…Teacher and a coach of 26 years in the Novi Community School District
