Was named second-team All-America in 1979 and finished his three-year EMU baseball career with a .327 batting average to go along with 63 RBI and 65 stolen bases. He played Major League Baseball from 1979-91. During his pro career he played on the 1985 World Series champion Kansas City Royals. He also played with the Detroit Tigers.
