Earned varsity letters in football (3), track (2), gymnastics (4), and baseball (1)... Captain of the 1931 football team... Campus wrestling champion in 1931 and 1932... Finished third in the pole vault at the 1936 World Labor Games... Taught in the Army Air Corp Physical Education program in 1945 and also was a swimming coach at Michigan State University... Was an athletic trainer at Michigan Teck from 1947-54... From 1959-74 he was an instructor and trainer at Aqua Fria H.S. in Arizona... The Medical Association of Arizona named him one the "Pioneering Athletic Trainers in High School".
