Track and Cross-Country: Graduated in 2005…Four-year letter-winner for the men’s track and field and cross country teams from 2000-2004…NCAA Division I National Champion in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase in 2004 (8:42.64), and was runner-up in 2003…Four-time NCAA All-American and 10-time Mid-American Conference Champion…Helped the EMU Men’s Track and Field team finish 26th in the nation in 2004…Earned the 2004 MAC Indoor Track and Field Championship’s Most Valuable Runner…EMU record holder in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase…One of five sub 4:00-milers in EMU history (3:59.83)…Competed in the Olympic Trial Finals twice in the Steeplechase…Won the 2010 Detroit Free Press Marathon with a time of 2:28:30 in his first attempt at running a marathon.
