Earned his EMU bachelor's degree in 1971 and his master's degree in 1972... Served the university as a member of the HPERD Department from 1971-85 and was EMU's head men's golf coach from 1972-85... Former President of the Mid-American Conference Golf Coaches Association from 1979-85 and Chairman of the NCAA District IV Selection Committee for those same six seasons... Named MAC men's golf "Coach of the Year" in 1980... Selected EMU's "Alumni Golfer of the Year" in 1991... Produced several All-American golfers during his tenure as golf coach... Served as the department chairman of the Henry Ford Community College HPERD Department from 1989-93... Co-chair of the Adray Memorial Golf Tournament sponsored by Henry Ford Community College since 1990... Former President of E-Letterwinners Club, and also a member of the board of directors.
