Voted vice president of the junior and senior classes at Eastern... Went on to teach and coach at Michigan High school ranks, at Belleville, Chelsea and Westland John Glenn... Was the head football and track coach at Belleville H.S. for four years... Served in the U.S. Army from 1944-46 and awarded a Purple Heart.
