Graduated in 1932...All-time great in track and cross country...Earned three varsity letters in both track and cross country...Lettered in cross country in 1929, '30 and '31 and track in 1930, '31 and '32...All three cross country teams went undefeated, with 6-0 records in both 1929 and '30 and a 5-0 record in '31...All three cross country teams won the Michigan Collegiate Conference and the state championship, while the '29 squad was the National Junior AAU champions, and the 1931 team was the National Senior AAU runner-up...Finished third in the National AAU Junior cross country championships in 1929 and second in the National AAU championships in 1931...Went on to coach two high school state baseball champions...Member of the Arm of Honor and Sigma Delta Psi Fraternities...Also served as the president of the Varsity Club.
