Outstanding trackman... Earned three varsity letters in both track and cross country... Captain of the 1936 Eastern cross country team... Was a national champion in cross country in 1935 and ran in the Olympic Trials... Won the state of Michigan AAU cross country championships in 1934... Finished second in the mile at the 1935 state meet in outdoor track... Placed fifth in the 1936 AAU national cross country championships... Went on to become a trainer and physician for the Maccabiah Games from 1940-60.
