Was an outstanding baseball player for EMU from 1973-76...Earned four varsity letters...Named first-team All-America in 1976 after batting .392 with 55 RBI and 10 homers...Helped lead the Eastern Michigan baseball team to a runnerup spot in the NCAA College World Series in 1976 and a fifth-place finish in 1975...Went on to play and manager in the professional baseball ranks.
