Outstanding baseball and basketball player... president of the 1937 Senior Class... Captain of the 1936-37 Eastern Michigan baseball and basketball teams... Went on to sign a professional baseball contract with the St. Louis Browns and played in their minor league system for several years... Coached three league baseball championships teams at Romulus H.S. from 1937-39... Went on to serve the Trenton School District as an administrator for many years and coached six league championship baseball team and two league champion basketball teams... Helped organize and expand the recreation and baseball programs in Trenton... Member of the Sports Sage.
