Earned four letters in football and basketball and two in baseball... Captain of the 1928 basketball team... Never played on a losing team in and sport in high school or college... Earned All-League honors in the Michigan Collegiate Conference (MCC) in both football and basketball... Coached and taught in the Toledo School system for 12 years and spent 15 years on the Bowling Green State University staff as a coach and trainer... Elected to the Toledo Waite High School Hall of Fame in 1974.
