From 1952-57 his EMU teams recorded a 37-14-2 record... Three-year varsity football letterman at the University of Michigan and named Merit Certificate-Grantland Rice All-American mention in 1938... Coached and taught in high school at Hudson, Flint Northern and Owosso before coming to Eastern in 1952.
