Lettered in football, baseball, and basketball... Went on to become an outstanding coach and athletic director at River Rouge High School... In 25 years as River Rouge's head football coach his teams were 173-38-13... His River Rouge teams won the state Class B championship 14 times... One of the pioneers behind the founding of the Michigan Recreation and Parks Administration... Helped start the River Rouge Country Club, River Rouge Kiwanis Club and the Senior Citizen's Club... Originator of "River Rouge Days"... Helped Design the River Rouge High School gym and it was later names the "Buck Weeber Gymnasium" in his honor in 1959.
