Enjoyed an outstanding track and cross country career at EMU... Represented EMU as one of the top women Athletes of the Decade in the Mid-American Conference... Earned All-America honors as a fourth-place finisher in the mile run at the 1986 NCAA indoor championships... Also add All-America honors in the 3,000-metter run with a sixth at the 1989 NCAA outdoor championships... Was a two-time NCAA All-America in cross country, in 1986 and 1988... Won the 1988 MAC individual cross country title... Won the 3,000 meter and 5,000 meter runs in the MAC outdoor championships three times each, in 1986, 1988, and 1989... Competed in the T.A.C. cross country and track competitions from 1985-89.
