Was an outstanding swimmer for the Eastern Michigan University men's team from 1982-85...Earned four varsity letters and helped lead the team to four consecutive Mid-American Conference championships...Won five individual MAC titles, including both the 50 and 100-yard freestyles in 1984 and 1985 and added another 100-yard crown in 1983...Added six MAC relay titles: the 400-yard medley in 1983, the 400-yard freestyle in 1983, 1984 and 1985, and the 800-yard freestyle in 1983 and 1985...He has served as the chairman of the finance committee for the Grand Haven Christian School board and is the chairman of the Deacons of the Second Christina Reformed Church Council...Currently working for the Kieft Insurance Agency, Inc., in Spring Lake, Michigan.
