Began his coaching career at Grayling High School in 1923 and then spend 15 years in the Highland Park Schools as an Athletic supervisor... Recognized as one of the top basketball and football game officials in the state of Michigan for 23 years... Died on Jan. 27, 1945, while officiating at a basketball game.
