President of Kappa Phi Alpha fraternity... Charter member of the EMU football Bust Committee... Went on to become and outstanding high school game official for more than 30 years... Left teaching in 1966 to become an administrator and served the Wayne County Intermediate School District in a host of administrative chores, including superintendent... Former member of the EMU Alumni Association Board of Directors... Charter member of the Livonia Optimist Club... Also served on the Board of Directors of the Michigan School Business Officials, the Michigan Liquid Asset Fund, and the Community Telecommunications Network.
