One of the all-time hurdlers for the EMU track team... Won the NAIA indoor high hurdles title in 1969... Won the NCAA-College Division outdoor hurdles championship in the 1970... Was runner up in the high hurdles at the 1968 NAIA Outdoor Championships, third in the 1970 indoor meet and second in the 1970 outdoor championships... Ran the first leg of the shuttle hurdle relay team that set an indoor world record in 1968... Names All:America in 1970 and 1972... Was a two-time national high school champion and record holder.
