E-Club Holds 2013 Fall Letter Jacket Ceremony

51 EMU student-athletes were awarded their letter jackets

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – It is a special day for any student-athlete at Eastern Michigan University, receiving your official letterman's jacket from the E-Club Alumni Chapter, a group of former EMU varsity athletic letterwinners. That newest honor of letterman was bestowed upon 51 student-athletes for their participation in athletics this fall. The ceremony was held Monday night, Dec. 2, at the Convocation Center
After a couple year hiatus, the ceremony was reinstated to honor each first-year student-athlete with their lettermen's jacket. The E-Club will hold two inductions each academic year to honor student-athletes who have met the criteria to earn a letterman's jacket. A specific criteria has been developed for each sport by the head coaches and athletic department administrators.
