COLUMBIA, Mo. —
The Eastern Michigan University gymnastics team completed competition at the 27th Annual Callaway Bank Cat Classic, hosted by the No. 17 ranked University of Missouri Tigers last night, Feb. 24. EMU junior Jolene Worley (Orlando, Fla-William R. Boone) posted a 9.850 on the balance beam, capturing medalist honors.

The top 10 individuals competed for top honors on the second and final day of the classic. The Eagles were well represented in the vault and bars competition as Tawna Bennett (Jacksonville, Fla.-Edward White) finished third on the vault, and sophomore Duyen Zu Vuong (Ottawa, Ontario-DelaSalle) finished third on the bars with a 9.800.

EMU will travel next to Normal, Ill. for a non-conference dual meet against Illinois State. The meet is scheduled for a 7 p.m. start time.
