McCullough had an impressive performance to close out the regular season at home against Northern Illinois March 13. The former walk-on earned a career-high 9.900 on bars, tying for first place on the event. The sophomore also tied her personal-best of 9.850 on floor, tying for fourth place, and helping the team to an event total of 39.325. That total ties for fifth best in program history. Furthermore, the Birmingham, Ala. native competed on vault, scoring 9.750, which placed seventh.
