Weather Alters Schedule; Friday Doubleheader at EMU

Softball to play Central Michigan Friday in Ypsilanti, Saturday's game back in Mount Pleasant
YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) - The Eastern Michigan University softball team has adjusted the schedule for its upcoming series against Central Michigan University, April 13-14. Originally scheduled to be played on CMU's campus, the teams will instead square off Friday, April 13, in a doubleheader in Ypsilanti. First pitch is scheduled for 12 p.m. at Varsity Field with free admission to all fans in attendance.
A decision on game three of the series will be made later this weekend. Saturday's contest would not be played on EMU's campus and would shift back to Margo Jonker Stadium in Mount Pleasant.
Eastern Michigan is still in the hunt for a berth in the upcoming Mid-American Conference Tournament, May 9-12, in Akron, Ohio. The Eagles are 3-9 in league play, but have won three of their last five MAC contests.
