Eagles Sit in Fourth Through Day Two of Kingsmill Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (EMUEagles.com) – The Eastern Michigan University men's golf team carded a second-round 290 on day two of the Kingsmill Intercollegiate Monday, March 26. The Eagles sit in fourth-place on the par 70, 6,794 yard Kingsmill Resort River Course, just six strokes behind field leader, Utah Valley University, with one round to go.
Two Eagles are inside the top-10 through 36 holes, as junior Beau Breault (Hartland, Mich.-Hartland) sits three strokes off the lead after shooting a second-round 73. Breault is currently in a tie for fifth with a two-round total of 143. EMU's best round of the day came from freshman Ty Celone (Long Sault, Ontario, Canada-St Joseph's Catholic). Celone tied Breault's opening round total with an even par 70, and moved into a tie for eighth-place with a two-round total of 144.
Freshman Cougar Collins (Caledon, Ontario, Canada-Mayfield Secondary) is tied for 26th with a 147 (75-72), while sophomore Zach Sudinsky (McKinney, Texas-Boyd-Stephen F. Austin) ranks tied for 28th with a 148 (73-75). Senior Tyler Lewis (Ortonville, Mich.-Brandon-Mott CC) is in a tie for 104th with a two-round score of 158 (76-82).
