Parking Locations Change for 2013 Soccer Season

Fans are asked to park in the Multi-Purpose Indoor Practice Facility parking lot

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — The Eastern Michigan Department of Athletics has announced parking changes for the 2013 women's soccer home season at Scicluna Field. With last year's construction complete, soccer fans are now asked to park in the Multi-Purpose Indoor Practice Facility parking lot on Westview Street off of Huron River Drive.
Once parked in the Indoor Practice Facility lot, fans can walk past the Claudia Wasik Tennis Complex and practice fields to Scicluna Field. Seating will be allowed on the east side of the field as well as on the north hill.
Last year, parking for soccer matches was moved to the parking lots on Hewitt Road due to construction by the Indoor Practice Facility. This year, fans will not be allowed to park in the lots along Hewitt Road.
The Eagles begin their season, Wednesday, Aug. 14, with an exhibition match against Illinois State University. The match kicks off at 3 p.m. at Scicluna Field.
