Miranda Tate Dismissed From the EMU Basketball Squad

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University Head Women's Basketball Coach Tory Verdi has announced the dismissal of senior guard Miranda Tate (Bolingbrook, Ill.-Bolingbrook-South Carolina-Providence) from the program, effective immediately.
“Miranda Tate has been dismissed from the women's basketball team due to violating team policy,” said Verdi.
The 5-foot-11 guard from Bolingbrook High School played in all 12 games for EMU this season. She led the team in scoring (12.9 ppg) and was sixth in rebounding (3.5 rpg).
Eastern Michigan University will have no further comment on this matter.
