Eight Eagles Named Preseason All-MAC by Phil Steele

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) -- Eastern Michigan University senior tight end Garrett Hoskins (Grand Rapids, Mich.-Creston) and sophomore kick returner Demarius Reed (Chicago, Ill.-Simeon Academy) have been named to Phil Steele's preseason All-Mid-American Conference first team.

Senior linebacker Justin Cudworth (Monte Nido, Calif.-Agoura-College of the Canyons) and redshirt junior cornerback Marlon Pollard (Pomona, Calif.-Cajon-UCLA) earned preseason second team recognition from Phil Steele. Meanwhile, senior running back Dominique Sherrer (Cincinnati, Ohio-Colerain) and senior center Andrew Sorgatz (Wheaton, Ill.-Wheaton North) were third team offensive honorees.

Pollard also earned third team accolades as a punt returner. Rounding out the preseason teams, senior offensive guard Corey Watman (Queensville, Ontario, Canada-Huron Heights) and senior offensive tackle Korey Neal (Bowie, Md.-St. John's) were named fourth team offense.
