Marshall Signs Contract With Traverse City Beach Bums

Out-going senior catcher Andrew Marshall recently signed a free agent contract to play for the Frontier League team

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University senior catcher Andrew Marshall (Mason, Mich.-Mason) recently signed a free agent contact to play for the Traverse City Beach Bums of the Frontier League.

Marshall, a recent EMU graduate and member of the Mid-American Conference All-Tournament team, started 55 games for the Eagles this past season. Marshall was second on the team in batting average, hitting .320 (66-for-206) with nine doubles and 10 home runs to go along with 45 RBI. Marshall finished his career ranked third all-time in home runs (37) and tied for sixth all-time with EMU Hall of Famer Chris Hoiles with 130 RBI.
