Five EMU Football Players Suspended Indefinitely

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Five Eastern Michigan University football players have been suspended from the team for an indefinite period. All five will continue to practice daily.

The five players are: Steve Brown (Charlottesville, Va.-St. Anne's Belfield), Tyrone Burke (Syracuse, N.Y.-Corcoran-Milford Academy), Tim Fort (Southfield, Mich.-Southfield), Dwayne Priest (Roanoke, Va.-Fleming-Fork Union Military Academy), and Latarrius Thomas (New Smyrna Beach, Fla.-Smyrna Beach).

"I have suspended Steve Brown, Tyrone Burke, Tim Fort, Dwayne Priest, and Latarrius Thomas indefinitely due to violation of team rules," EMU Head Football Coach Ron English said.

The Eagles are scheduled to host Mid-American Conference West Division opponent Toledo Saturday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m. in Rynearson Stadium.
