Baseball to Host Fall Prospect Camp

YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) – Eastern Michigan University head baseball coach Jay Alexander has announced his staff will host its 2009 Fall Prospect Baseball Camp at Oestrike Stadium, September 12-13, for all high school players graduating between 2010-2013.

Registration is available online by clicking the red Register Online link above or by mail by filling out the camp brochure (download here) and mailing it to the EMU baseball office at: 200 Bowen Field House, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. The camp costs $100 per camper.

On Saturday, Sept. 12, camp registration will begin at noon with a pro-style workout involving fielding from various positions scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. followed by scrimmages at 3:30 p.m. On Sunday, Sept. 13, each player will be selected to play in two live scrimmages with evaluation from collegiate coaches. Alexander and his staff will be conducting all instruction at the camp, while several Division I, II, III, NAIA and junior college coaches will also be in attendance.
