YPSILANTI, Mich. (EMUEagles.com) — Eastern Michigan University Director of Athletics Dr. Derrick Gragg has announced that Michigan State University has signed home-and-home agreements in football and men's basketball for future schedules.

The Spartans have agreed to schedule the EMU men's basketball team for a game here in the Convocation Center during the 2011-12 season. In addition, the Michigan State University football team will travel here to Rynearson Stadium to square off against EMU in the 2018 or 2020 season.

In addition to those EMU home contests, the Eagles already had a 2012 football date at MSU and will return to East Lansing for football games in 2014 and 2016. The EMU men's basketball team will likely match up with the Spartans on several future road tilts.

"We appreciate the way that Mark Hollis and his staff have worked collaboratively with us during the past few months," Gragg said. "This partnership will give us an opportunity to play the Spartans at home in both men's basketball and football. The home games will be exciting for our players, our fans and our University and we look forward to the challenge of competing against Michigan State in these historic ventures."
